Migrating birds, a plein-air painter, a flight crew on break, a fashion shoot director... These figures and more populate a surreal immersive experience designed as a 3/4-mile walking tour from the Infinite Monkey Theorem wine bar at Stanley Marketplace through the Westerly Creek greenbelt. Together we’ll part the veil of our daily grind, to see what lies behind, beneath, and beyond the familiar façade of our everyday lives.

Watching Night Falling is an immersive performance. On a one-mile walk through marketplace, streets, and greenways, audiences join the performers in unfolding the hidden contents of mundane environments. Together we’ll part the veil our daily grind’s familiar façade, to witness the strange, gritty, gorgeous world just out of view.

Watching Night Falling is a family-friendly event. It involves a one-mile walk, including indoor spaces, sidewalks, paved paths, and dirt trails. It contains audience-interactive elements, limited visibility situations, loud noises, and moments of profound quiet. Children of all ages are welcome, with appropriate supervision. **Strollers are not recommended, unless they can be folded and carried down one flight of stairs and one unpaved hill.**

Performances begin Thursday, September 20, and continue Fridays/Saturdays/Sundays through October 7.

Please dress for the occasion! We strongly recommend closed-toed shoes, a rain jacket, and attire appropriate for a light hike. Remember that temperatures can drop 20º or more from later afternoon to early evening!

Arrive early and enjoy a drink special for ticket-holders!
