Strong relationships are crucial for Control Group’s work and culture, from staff and artistic collaborators to board members and volunteers. Our goal is to meet each other as whole people, and this moves at the speed of trust. We strive to rethink or find alternatives to traditional hiring practices, and instead maintain a warm, proactive open-door policy for new connections.

This means that if you’re interested in working with us, we want to hear from you! We love meeting new people, hearing new project ideas, and exploring how we can collaborate. Please do not hesitate to reach out with your interest.

Staff:

Associate Artistic Director; Full Time $45,760 per annum, $200 per month Stipend, Unlimited PTO (in dialogue with coworkers); Applicants will be considered on a rolling basis through Oct. 20, 2024. Click here for more details and to apply.

Board

We are currently seeking 1-3 new members of our Board of Directors. If you have interest, please contact us through this form.

Production

We are often looking for Stage Managers, Designers, and Production Crew for next projects. Please check in with interest (feel free to send a résumé, share current/recent projects you’re working on, or just propose a time to meet and connect).

Performers

We rarely hold auditions. We’d rather meet and get to know each other, maybe buy you a coffee, or get together in the studio to move together or workshop a new project.

Volunteers

We can always use extra hands to help us prepare for productions and keep things moving in the office. Feel free to reach out with your interest, and we’ll get to know each other at our next work day.

New Projects: Co-Producing & other Artist Services Program collaborations

We work to support community projects in whatever ways we’re able – from commissioning and presenting to ad hoc support with marketing, equipment, venue/site searches, etc. See our Artist Services Program overview for more.
